John, I think there is a problem with the new format "Traffic" report.

I have been using that for quite some time (a year?) to parse and reproduce an "activity bulletin"
for my bbs Users. Before the format change it was quite accurate.. but now, with the new format
there seems to be a problem. I have attached two files.. the first one was in the old format and
the second one is the new format.

Here is an example of the problem:
    KB0WSA    385        0          50/0/1        57/131/1     64230/0/18868127/260769/177           0/0/0           0/0/0

Actually, the "50/0/1" should be "12/0/0", and the "57/131/1" should be "8/?/0".

When you have time, will you take a look at this?

    73,  K.O. n0kfq

Still not fixed, John. After waiting a week for the fixed version to build a new file, it turns out to be the same as before. Latest file is attached. K.O.

It has run only one "Sunday-to-Sunday" week since the new version (actually, two new versions this week). The "fixed" version was installed sometime "mid-week", then the next Sunday it printed a report that was the same as before. Then, at the NEXT Sunday (yesterday) I expected a correct report, but there seemed to be nothing different.

It appears that the report always has the "last week's" report added to it. It does not get "reset" for the next report.

It has run only one "Sunday-to-Sunday" week since the new version (actually, two new versions this week). The "fixed" version was installed sometime "mid-week", then the next Sunday it printed a report that was the same as before. Then, at the NEXT Sunday (yesterday) I expected a correct report, but there seemed to be nothing different.

It appears that the report always has the "last week's" report added to it. It does not get "reset" for the next report.

I store totals, and the values at the last report, so you could load the data into a spreadsheet and produce whatever reports you want. I've always intended to add an option to export the values in a spreadsheet-friendly format, but haven't yet got round to it.

                  John,

I see the totals for all stations on my BBS. This is good, but the reports also require we give time credit for each user connect in and each message sent and received.
The type of message is also considered with the time credit (P/B/T).

Right now I import all (approx) 13 weeks of the quarter into a single Excel file, then sort by Call. I sum the connects and the traffic of each user that is not a full time BBS. RMSExpress users and PBBS's are also counted. For MARS purposes, as far as I know, the BYTE count isn't used in the reports.

If an RMSExpress user has requested specific bulletins, I flag them as a bbs.
It would make the reporting easier if you could break out the type of traffic and split the P/B/T into individual space or tab delimited columns so I we don't have to do that manually under Excel.

For what we need, it isn't necessary to split up the P/B/T for the BYTE counts into separate columns. But I don't know what other services would like.

                  Thank you and

                  Ok,

That was the bug I thought I'd fixed - the counts where cumulative. I'll have another look at it.

Has it run twice with the new version? It needs the first to set a new set of "currnnt" values, then the next to use them.

Still not fixed, John. After waiting a week for the "fixed" version to build a new file, it turns out to be the same as before. Latest file is attached.
