        Hi Jim.. I read in my config bpq send the restart command automajically. I did a reflash of firmware was able to connect to CIP using Putty on my windows PC..

          But not via Linbpq before or after.. Going to try some more tests…

          Go into the bios in the ptc and set a flashcall or change it and see if it changes if it does than your firmware is working. The flashcall will be the callsign

            The flashcall will be the callsign that the unit will have whan you first receive it from the dealer.
            I changed it to my hamcall the default is SCSPTC

              I have tried several things so far and nothing… Under linbpq.. But will let it run a few days in case the bands went sour…

                  May be a TNC issue or something… I do not know what could be up with BPQ that would cause that…

                   

                  But is surely is not up to snuff.. Very poor performer compared to Winmor.. Must be something..

                  usually RPR and Pactor do great… or at least as good as winmor.. But not today…

                        I saw that. Not sure what is going on. All they guys I do pactor with . we have no reliable connection.. Only time it worked when I connected to windows Putty

                          I saw that… Not sure what is going on… All they guys I do pactor with … we have no reliable connection.. Only time it worked when I connected to windows Putty and tried a connect.. I guess the TNC could going south…

                           

                          Right now WINMOR is blowing away Pactor performance.. on same rig same antenna same freq.. So I am sure that is all ok…

                           

                          Will see how it does over next few days.. or try sending into Farallon for testing..
