      Noting Randy's comment:
That is precisely why there is far greater restriction on what amateurs can do in the UK.
To run an Igate in  the UK you must have a Notice of Variation to your main licence in order to port internet traffic to RF and vice versa.. The NoV stipulates  the frequency of operation 144.800Mhz for unattended APRS operation, and the permitted erp.
My station, MB7UEK  can only operate an Igate porting to RF on 144.800MHz, it incidentally raises
the question as to whether I should use my Class A call, G4MKI on BPQAprs or my Igate call MB7UEK...time will tell.....

I hope the aprs type messages don't start apearing on the let's say normal packet freq's
that would destroy a packet node system. with all the beaconing going out.I think would be great if for sure kept on the APRS Freq.

Jeez. . . .every once in a while it becomes apparent the extent of involvement
you have with some of this stuff, m'man.
I've got the BPQ APRS thingie working.  Map looks great, lots of activity.  I change
the filter to 80 miles I think it says.
APRS Messages window has a provision for what appears to be a simple, single line messaging
editor.  Do I use that for simple "Howdy" messages to a station now, as is, or do I need wait to
have another VHF radio  connected through an interface like RigBlaster and tuned to 144.390 first?

I use Ambient Weathers VWS Virtual Weather Station Software and use the wxreport.txt file it generates to send my weather station info thru the BPQ32 APRS System.  On the weather map page you select the file to use.. VWS updates this file at whatever interval you sent in VWS and then you can set the interval that it gets transmitted thru BPQAPRS/ 73

Hi all, Has anybody integrated a home weather station with APRS and BPQ32. Or can direct us to a site for further info.
