MASI Gran Criterium built in Mondonico, Italy in 1990. This particular frame was assembled in Italy and shipped to Rancho Santa Fe, California, for sale in the United States. According to the website: Masi Registry USA, this frame [serial number 0079 / MM58] was origionally offered for sale on eBay in 1990. It is a 58 cm frame, in MASI (California) red color. This sixteen (16) speed frame is equipt with: Campagnolo drop-outs and frame pump (Brevettato Impero); Shimano 'Dura-Ace' brakes, shifters, deraileurs, and seat post; FSA 'Energy' hollow-forged' crank arms and 50/34 110mm BCD chain rings; LOOK black pedals; 'Henry James' style Oval Masi Crests atop the fork crowns; 'Palmares' box seat tube decals; 'Rolls' San Marco seat; 'Cinelli' stem; 'TTT' anodized handlebars; 'Mavic' Maxtal S6000 Open Pro rear rim, with 'Continental' Ultra Gatorskin 700/23c tire; SUP UB Control front rim, with 'Veloflex/Pave' Press Bar 7/8 Kevlar tire; 'Pearlizumi' seat post bag
with spare tube; and two frame mounted 'XONI' Tubular Water Bottle Cages.
The frame has several small paint chips, but is otherwise in very fine condition. A very nice classic Italian built road racing frame.
