Here is a very rare 1987 Bridgestone MB-1. This is the first year Grant
and Co. really got the geometry right on the now legendary Bridgestone
MB series of mountain bikes and is most notable for having drop bars
standard. It features a beautiful fully lugged frame made completely out
of Tange Prestige heat treated steel. It has no dents or cracks and has
been routinely frame savered to prevent rust. The frame is straight and
rides true. The front fork is also notable. It is a Tange built version
of the Bontrager designed Switchblades fork. This rare version also has
Tange Prestige tubing for the fork legs. Only 300 of these bikes were
ever made in '87. Here is your chance to own a piece of MTB history.
