Selling my '84 Medici Pro Strada. Size is 53cm ctc seat tube, with 55cm ctc top tube. Equipped with full Campagnolo Record and Super Record components in nice shape, and pantographed Medici logo ttt stem and bars. Excellent Concor Supercorsa leather saddle, looks nearly new! Wheels are Mavic GP4 tubular (sewup) with Campagnolo Record hubs. This has been in storage for 15 years, so tires hold air for only a short time and are old and dry; they'll need to be replaced. Rims are fairly true. Columbus SL double-butted tubing frame is in very good shape, and is not dented or bent. Bike has not been crashed. Original paint and decals in good shape, but does have some nicks and scratches. Chrome is fair and does have pits/flaking (fork). You'll want to replace the old gum rubber brake hoods. Does not come with pedals.
For those who don't know Medici, these were built in Los Angeles by '70s CA Masi and Wizard builder, Mike Howard, and Gian Simonetti. This is a very nice, vintage, professional quality road racing bike, built in '82-'84.
Asking $700, or best realistic offer. Sorry, no money orders from Nigeria or Dubai; cash and local pickup only.
