80's Colian Tandem MTB. Hand built by Colin Laing. 18 sped , Oval top tubes and bottom tube. Stronglight cranks and chain rings. Shimano Deore front and rear derailleur and thumb shifters. Suntour XC levers , Shimano Deore pedals , Blackburn racks , Quadruple bottle cages , Haden Alloy cam , Dia Compe cantilever brakes. AMErica grips , Araya polished aluminum rm-20 26" whelset with Specialized hubs with Wheelsmith serial number.Tange headset. Cheng Shin Mountain Bike tires , SR Laprade seat posts.

Cranks and chain rings show some light signs of use , but still work great. Frame is excellent. Rims are true and straight. Tires are a litttle dry from age , but still have life left and great tread. Ready to ride.

Bike is all original except the rear seat has been replaced with a Trike Momoflex ii saddle. It originaly had a Vetta saddle that matches the front one. It also has the original stands.

This bike was built by Colin Laing a British bike builder who hand built some very fine quality bikes sinc e the 50's or 60's I believe , for teams ,professional and everyday riderss. Colin moved here to Chandler , AZ in the 80's. This bike was made in the USA. Colin also worked at Tempe BIkes for a while ( I don't know if he still does ) Very friendly guy and a legendary bike builder. He has since retired from bike building and is enjoying time with family and friends.

Ride a fine quality piec of history. This is a great bike to ride as well as be proud to own. With proper maintenance this bike will not go down in value. It originally sold for over 3000$

      Asking $1000 / best offer
