In an effort to promote the exchange of ideas and development of EV
technology and use, Remy and I have created this group for exchange
of ideas and information and by allowing members to post their
messages should help us all learn from each other.

As usual try to stay on topic and if you have any information that
may benefit this groups purpose then post it.

Any events that are related to this groups mission should be added
to the calendar so that we can schedule them into our busy adult
      lives.

Membership is open right now but it is the intention to have people
in this group who actively promote - develop - invent - build -
technology that will help us all advance towards better, cleaner,
more efficient, energy creation, storage and transportation.

        Dear BMBB List,

Let's all keep in mind the mission of this group is Better Motors &
Better Batteries... so let's keep focused on that topic... meaning
discussions about up and coming promising new companies and
        innovative discoveries.

The idea is to bring them all together into a concise, operational
business model, that can lead to viable R&D and proper funding.

Which means this group is not about EVs per say, and certainly not
        about ways to generate electricity.

This is solely about more efficient electrical storage and more
efficient motor usage of such stored electricity.

It also means studying the political and economical hurdles standing
in the way of a more concerted, national, if not
international "Manhattan Project-like" effort to bring Better Motors
and Better Batteries into the marketplace.

We need to focus on the companies currently at the cutting edge of
research, the labs at both academic and military facilities, and the
knowledge depositories, like the Burndy library at MIT and the Bakken
        Museum in Minneapolis.

Let's focus on making this list an open, fast acting, networking tool
to put people with mutual interest in ultimately seeing long range
and affordable EVs on our roadways.

Let's focus on solid-state batteries and polymer wound motors. The
rest is best left to the hundreds of other EV and green
transportation groups already out there satisfied with off-the-shelf
        components.

The ET list remains the principal archive for press releases, etc...
Let's take a cue from all the postings already listed on the bmbb.biz
website, and pursue each and everyone of these leads aggressively by
pulling all interesting parties into the BMBB List.

In time, with the assistance of the CT Technology Council and Native
American casino earnings, we could be the spring board to an R&D and
manufacturing facility in Connecticut, perhaps either on the Pequot
        or Mohegan reservation.

        Let's stay focused!
        Remy C.
