Hi to a SWEET HONEY MAN and his SWEET HONEY WOMAN !
Wow 5 gallons of Sweet Honey from some busy Fullerton girls !!!
I sure wish I had THAT Bucket.
I brought up 2 quarts of honey I bought from Bob Mohler  (old member of original Orange County Bee keepers association) in Villa Park on my trip last summer. I had intended THAT honey for this long stay for baking like crazy for the building crew. Both jars were down to ALMOST the bottom when I arrived. My son suggesting his daughter had a sweet tooth !  I believe different I think it was used for making his MEAD ! My granddaughter would have had many insulin shocks if that was how it disappeared. I am now using Black strap Molasses I had in the cabin.
You generously gave me a jar before I left, but I wanted to save that for my Denmark trip as a Novelty gift since our bees won't have time to produce enough honey from sept to December that we can rob. The girls need it to feed the babies in the meager winter months.

The excavating went GREAT for the new cabin site. We had a young red haired man named Tyson to do the work and he was very careful not to disturb the electrical wires Lasse had buried deep down to his house. Lasse had both the telephone co and electrical company come out and mark exactly where the wires ran even the ones to Lasses house that they are not responsible for. Everybody are so nice and helpful.
Lasse hired Mona from True North's husband Jay and his buddy to come and set the footer forms. Lasse and Kayla had already cut and bend the re bar and purchased all the lumber. Lasse did a great job at estimating the material and set it up and the 3 worked together like a team that did this every day. Then they came back an other day to pour the concrete footer with 2 extra helping hands of 2 young people. Lasse in charge of the cement mixer and a young new PT graduate Lasse just met 2 days before at "Concert on the Lawn", who worked hard at shoveling gravel into the mixer while the young man ran the wheel barrow over to the make shift chute down into an other wheel barrow and then dumping that directly inside the form boards. The 2 guys down in the hole smoothing out the concrete and using a handheld electric vibrator to fill in every where. Then trowel both top and rounding outer edges for a water proof liner to be added later. The next step is setting up the wall formboard for the pouring next week. Lasse is right now removing the footer form boards and cleaning them.
Lasse worked hard at setting up a gravity fed water line from a stainless steel tank by the well house. He had the excavator with his cute excavator lift the heavy tank up onto a high steel stand. Had the well pump fill the tank for a full 24 hr. Then ran a line behind the cabin with a spigot for the workers or me and the line around back to the cement mixer with an other spigot. Very functional set up !
I fed the crew warm home made bread one loaf with Honey and the other with Molasses, with CHICK WEED harvested right outside the door. I did not know you can eat Chick Weed. It tastes GREAT and crunchy. Then I made a Salmon sandwich spread that was oh so delicious for open face sandwiches. Lasse caught the salmon.                                      I have been cursing the chick weed when I weed in my garden. No longer shall I do any cursing, but happily harvest and eat it!

                2 days later !
Thank you for ALL the hard work you do for me and my mail, covering my car, taking care of all the girls in multiple locations. Killing the wasps, spraying the Ice plant for weed control while the bees are gone. How was I so lucky to meet a SWEET Bee lover couple in the Bee club that I nearly left when Jim had himself voted in dishonestly ???
Rita and I are the only ones left from the old club besides Jim and David Marder of course !

Now some sentence I wrote has disappeared on me!!!!
Also I cannot connect my WiFi to send this off !!!
Dammit my GRANDDAUGHTER knows how !!
My son is gone for the weekend.

                Good bye !
Love the hopeless computer challenged  ULLA  LA

Boy I sure have a hard time getting my WiFi to work for me to send this message off.

I am home alone. My little granddaughter knows how to put the password in and I the old woman cannot figure it out !!!
