1345Bees on artichokes?
- Feb 8 11:55 AMI have a big organic garden, and some large artichoke plants in it which are NOT currently in bloom. I have noticed in the past few days that they are a big hit with bees, which land on the leaves, scoot around with their proboscis extended, and then fly away. There is no water on the plants (and I have water elsewhere for the bees). Anyone know what an artichoke (essentially a really big thistle) has to offer honeybees?
