  • He didn't say anything about RR. I can't remember the fix but if you search through old threads you should be able to find something. ----- Original Message ----- From: BCD396XT@^$1 To: BCD396XT@^$2 Sent:Sun Jun 22 04:20:29 UTC 2014 Subject: Re: [BCD396XT] Serial port problem That doesn't make any sense since RR import uses the network connection, not serial. • If it was repaired under warranty, I can understand why they don't return old parts. If you paid for the full repair service and new parts, then I can understand your concern. • Another idea.... I used a magnetic mount to the ceiling air duct right in front of the window and have the antenna hang upside down. Looks funny, but it works. I'm not a RF guy so this might not be the best solution, but it works better than the small antenna on the scanner. ----- Original Message ----- From: "thestreetdisciples" To: BCD396XT@^$1 Sent: Monday, January 31, 2011 6...

  • I have the one from ScannerMaster. Pros: Very durable material. Nice quality stitching. Snug fit around scanner. Secure snap closure for belt attachment. Side openings for Menu/function button, flap for remote, and power connection Cons: Does not cover the top of scanner with fold over flap. Top plastic window slightly covers clear window on scanner, but does not cover top line of...

  • I've read the manual, and "mark's easy to read manual, and just can't figure this one out. I want to be able to search, listen to a found frequency, and have it automatically store in a system. When the found frequency traffic stops, continue searching... "Auto Search and Store" does not allow you to listen to radio traffic. "Close call auto store" does not allow you to listen to...
