  • The headphone jack is attenuated. If used for an external speaker, the speaker should be amplified. It's not like the 996XT which has a external speaker jack. Clark At 10:13 AM 12/23/2013, you wrote: I have no audio on my internal speaker on the 396XT. External speaker is extremely low at full volume. For 2 or 3 days before it quit, the audio sounded a bit distorted. Anyone have...

Maybe they have a high level of security...

  • UPMan gave you a great list of programming software choices. Just remember that if you choose free software, a donation is always welcomed by the author. Almost all of the programs have a free trial version so you can decide for yourself which you prefer. Also, remember that you just paid several hundred dollars for the scanner, so free software might not be the way to go if a paid...

  • Again, the uniden Dynamic Memory scanners do not have banks. Instead of using up all the SQKs, why not not also assogm GQKs (Group Quick Keys) within the system. In your example of Denver. SQK60= Denver GQK1=Denver Air GQK5= Highway Patrol ETC. >David, >You are absolutely correct. >I will take your suggestion. Thank you. > >I originally thought the full "load" would impact...

  • ARC-XT has a 30 day trial version. Try it and decide for yourself. Many FreeSCAN users seem to forget that a donation is appropriate when the user continues to use it. One of things I like (among others ) with ARC-XT is that each system is a separate file. At 05:15 PM 7/20/2013, you wrote: >Is freescan better that Butel arc basic ? > >Sent from my iPhone
