      Multiple access refers to how multiple users are able to communicate. FDMA solves this by giving each user a separate frequency. TDMA solves this by giving each user a different time slot. CDMA/CSMA solves this by forcing all but one party to hush.

      You can combine FDMA with TDMA which is what P25 TDMA is. Each TDMA channel operates on a distinct frequency and timeslot.
