give up their unit, or if they do they want strait cash for it.

      Thanks.

You might also want to check locally on the dfwscan list (http://groups.

I am in the Dallas / Fort Worth area and last week decided to get a 396T or
XT, haven't decided yet exactly which one. If I have to spend cash I will
buy a new XT, if I can find someone who wants to swap equipment, I will
      settle for a T.

      What I have is

Motorola MTS2000 800Mhz Model 3, with the firmware upgrade for rebanding.
Model 3 is full keypad and display.

Motorola MTS2000 UHF model 2, 403-470Mhz Model 2 is limited keypad and
      display.

Motorola MTS2000 UHF model 1 hack 403-470Mhz top display

Motorola MTS2000 800Mhz model 1 hack top display

Motorola XTS3000 UHF 403-470 analog/digital, conventional and trunking

Motorola MCS2000 800Mhz Model 2, with the firmware upgrade for rebanding,
unit was set up for remote mount but while it was at Motorola I sold the
cable and head. The head and / or remote kit are the cheapest parts to buy
compared to the unit its self. LOL

I also have a couple of older scanners but I wont waste your time with
those, unless your in an area that isn't affected by re-banding.

I no longer work for a 2-way shop and am consolidating all my listening to
just a few high end commercial units and one or two really good scanners.

If your interested in any of the units above, let me know, I can give you
more detailed info as to what each can do, and what accessories I can toss
in to make them a better deal, and will definitely work with you on
      programming.

      Thanks..
