1837Re: [BCD396XT] Rechargeable Batteries

14-16 hours. Depends on the capacity of the battery and if it was completely discharged or not. Obviously shorter charge times if not fully discharged. I'm very pleased with the batteries that came with the BC396xt. I've also used higher capacity batteries. No complaints. When I switched from my BC246 to the BCD396T I wasn't happy. 3 batteries and they didn't last as long as I would like. So I started using 2700mah. With the BCD396xt I use 2800mah and they hardly ever run out.

Just wondering what is the standard time of charging these batteries?

They should be fine. They will last a bit longer than the ones that
came with the scanner and will also take a bit longer to recharge
      because of their higher capacity.
