You're welcome to come to the committee meeting to discuss it.

One of the ground rules we set when we started the charter process almost a year and a half ago is that charter topics would be discussed in person, and not on the mailing list. That decision has served us well, I think, and I would not like to change it at this late date.

I'll be happy to discuss the reasoning behind that decision in person.

      Hope to see you there.

I'm not sure if I'm out of line to say so, but in the SCA isn't there a difference between a citizen (a true native of a country, and in SCA terms paid member) and a denizen (someone who lives or travels in a country without being a native citizen, and in SCA terms a non-member participant), both together forming the populace (everybody who lives or travels within a country, whether citizen or denizen)?

I'd like to come if I can make it, but I wasn't really asking to discuss a charter topic. I just wanted to know if, SCA-wide (not our specific area and thus not our specific charter), there was a difference between a citizen and a denizen. At the meeting, if I can get there, I'd like to ask what the difference is, if any, for Ayreton in particular.
