- Mar 11, 2009Hi Roger -
Yes, you are correct that you cannot see the graphs for
keyframed Curves for animated CC in the FX editor. This is
a design decision - in the FX editor you create KFs for the
curves and you can modify their position in time. But you
use the CC param window to modify curve values at KFs.
The reason for that is: what value would you show for
a KF on a CC Curve in the FX editor? At each KF you could have
a lot of point values on a given Curve.
Some other things to know about keyframed CC Curves:
If you add a point to a curve in the CC Param window, similar
points will be added at the other keyframes for that curve.
i.e. we want there to be the same number of curve points for all
keyframes on a given CC Curve.
Once you have a KF on a CC Curve, if you move the bluebar in time
and adjust that Curve in the CC Param window it will auto-add
a keyframe for you.
On an unrelated note: for CC you can no longer add a keyframe to
all parameters by using the context menu on the top-most track in
the FX editor. This was a design decision because there are
beaucoup parameters in CC and if we make it easy to set a KF
for all parameters, users will be using a lot of memory when
they probably don't need to. non-CC effects don't have this restriction.
