- Nov 30, 2018Seems like they want to encourage people to cross grade to subscription and discourage the purchasing of perpetual licenses (though still offer them).Personally, I'm considering moving from perpetual to subscription, but the whole pricing matrix makes my head spin. It may actually be advantageous for me to sell my perpetual license (if I can) and re-subscribe.Keycode did a nice article on the different choices. It seems that the end of year deals are all for those wanting a subscription or those willing to switch from perpetual to subscription. Am I understanding this correctly?
