I always do my upgrades through Videoguys.com.  Gary Bettan has always been easy to get hold of and sort out the details.

I once accidentally bought the Media Composer upgrade when I needed the Symphony upgrade (they are the same price).  He got with Marianna and sorted it out right away.

They also usually have a 5 percent discount going, so I always get my upgrades cheaper too.  I don't know if Gary is on the L2, but he is on Avid Editors of Facebook.  Hit him up for a code.

I’m in the same situation, including Phrase Find and Script Sync.  After waiting on hold for 30 minutes on support, step by step instructions would be appreciated!

So apparently my MC subscription expires on December 1st. And of course the web site is of no help in figuring out what I’m supposed to do.

I now have (I think) MC with Symphony Option — but the AppMan also says ‘Perpetual’ on my account — which is not one of the combos in the renewal menu. It gives me four choices to add to the cart:

      - Media Composer/Software with Symphony Option
      - Media Composer/Ultimate (crossgrade, paid upfront)
      - Media Composer/Ultimate (crossgrade, paid monthly
      - Media Composer Perpetual

Again, I already have Perpetual (I think). But I ALSO have the Symphony option. So if I’m trying to affect the correct renewal, which option do I select?

      Help!

      Thanks,

      DD
