      Lou,
Did my tip on doing underlines and special characters work on your credits when first done in a Text Editor?

I think the culprit was the credits.  The entire show was mixed down to Pro Res.  Then we needed to redo credit roll.  So to save time I just added new credits from black onto the mix down clip.  Export same as source so the movie became a ProRes with Avid credits.  At the DVD house they could play the movie but credits came up black.  In their QT inspector it said Pro Res and Avid Codec.

I would suggest duplicating your sequence and deleting every video clip other than the ProRes mixdown, then try the same-as-source export again.

If you do a video mix down to QT Pro Res and then export same as source what do you get?  I just did this and no one without an avid codec can see the movie.  In the QT inspector window, it says Pro res and then Avid codec.  But in my QT window it does not say Avid Codec.  Is that because I have the codec?  I exported the same QT mix down a few days ago but exported as QT pro res even though I mixed it down to Pro res.   This time I thought I could get quicker export to go same as source and thought I was getting the same thing.  But its causing all kinds of issues with producer.  Is the Same as source not really Pro Res?
