I normally don’t run into this because I use a modified keyboard that puts trim functions on the shift key. But i’ve got a user that is using the default keyboard and having an issue, and I can replicate it. The default keyboard has the trim functions set to the keys

When I (they) go into trim mode and want to say extend out a music track a bit I hold down the / key so it repeats, but when I let go it doesn’t stop. It keeps going for a little bit. The longer I hold it down the longer it keeps going. It’s like it’s buffering the repeat. But I would like it to stop as soon as I let the key go.
As an example, If I’m in edit mode and I’m using the move functions, like the 1/3 of a sec advance function on the 2 key, I can hold that for quite some time on a timeline and as soon as I let go it stops.
How do I get the trim functions to behave the same way?
