It all went well, except for one system which will not do deck control – although it did before the move.I’ve hooked up dozens of these over the years but I am stumped.System is a Win7 HPz440 running Media Composer 8.4.something. I have tried 3 different USB to Serial adapters, 2 Rosetta Stone cables, temp cabling to the machine room and bypassing the machine control patch panel. I am also into a USB2 port since I have found they don’t work on USB3.So probably not hardware.On the software side I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Keyspan software, confirming it is the same version that other working systems are using. I have also confirmed the same firmware. I have tried various virtual ports, allocated in the Keyspan software.Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas appreciated.- Dave(971) 267-7661
