- Not only do "Gilligan's Island," "Stairway to Heaven," and "O Little Town of
Bethlehem" fit with each other, but you can do this same trick with "The
Yellow Rose of Texas" and any Emily Dickinson poem.
There are also a number of period songs that interchange this way--it's
because they're all written in ballad stanza.
