The artist took thousands of carapaces (exoskeletal wings) from Asian
beetles and created a fantastic ceiling for the hall of mirrors.
Indians have used these same beetle wings to decorate clothing for a couple
hundred years. This is the first known use of them to decorate a hall (of
which I am aware) and it turned out magnificently. The artist has titled
the work, "Heaven of Delight".
