We, the ordinary people, are the grassroots strength of our country.
Australians at their computers can talk to each other across the nation about many issues. We can work together to solve the problems that we identify, with or without government help.
We need to discuss equity of access to many things, such as: Telecommunications, WWW, education, health services, fuel and employment.
In order for the bush and the outback to meet and discuss with their city cousins, we must first achieve equal access to the Internet and the World Wide Web
We have done a lot of this but we don't yet have enough people who have lived all of their lives in a small town able to speak from their direct experiences about how things are these days in them.
This mailing list is associated with (begat) Aussie_expats http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Aussie_expats and its site http://www.aussieexpats.asn.au/ -- in many ways "Australia" is wherever Australians are living.
