Yes. There was one at a marina on Tomales Bay around 1980. I remember walking out to it on the float and verifying that it was indeed Captain Young. I knew the study plans well from the MB&S books--it even had the two cabin hatches. As I was standing there a party of young people, mostly teenagers, arrived and proceeded to take the boat out. They were draped all over her and having a ball. As I was leaving Tomales Bay some time later on Highway One I looked down and saw her anchored in a little cove with her three sails still up and the kids diving and swimming all around her. I remember haw majestic her sails looked--especially the curve in the leech of her mainsail. Prettiest schooner sighting I've ever had...--- In AtkinBoats@yahoogroups.com
