      A local fellow, Little Joe McKim, started building a Barrie Anne over 30
      years ago. After he suffered a heart attack many years ago work stopped on
      the Barrie Anne and he concentrated on making small boats and oars. Little
      Joe is gone now and his family needs to find a good home for the boat --
      with someone who will finish the project according to the plans and do a
      good job of it:

      The boat is planked with Alaska yellow cedar over oak frames and an oak
      and Douglas fir backbone. The deck is teak over plywood. It looks like the
      two masts and booms are done; there's no cabin or interior yet. An unused
      Yanmar SB12 engine with reverse gear and reduction comes with the boat.
      The boat has been sitting in a well-ventilated boat shed in Eugene,
      Orecgon and there's no rot or deterioration. They're asking $5,000. A real
      bargain, but they'll only sell to someone they think can do justice to the
