While reserching diesel engines that i'd like to put ito a Martha
Green i've found several that would fit the power requirements between
20 and 30 hp most of them are turning at 35 to 3600 rpm,the old gas
motors John Atkin speced for Martha ran at 2500 rpm and were fitted
with a 2.0-1 or 2.25 to 1 ratio this would have put thier final rpm at
      the shaft at between 1100 and 1250 rpm.So i'm thinking a 20 to 30 hp
diesel with a reduction of around 3.2 to 1 turning at around 1100 rpm
would be ideal.also the prop was i think listed as a 19 x 13 prop
which i assume ment a 19 inch prop with a 13 degree pitch would this
prop size be okay with the aforementioned diesel engine. If i'm wrong
on any of this please correct me thanks .
