      Seen on Craigslist:

John Atkin's own motorsailor hull (Chappaquiddick, Martha's Vineyard)
      Date: 2011-06-05, 1:29PM EDT

This 25' wooden hull was designed by John Atkin in the 1950s for himself and his wife Pat to cruise Long Island Sound. Interior and cabin top have been removed in preparation for refastening and redesign. Hard chine hull has lapstrake above the water line and carvel below. Spars, sails, prop and shaft remain; gas engine has been removed to make way for diesel (or electrric!). Waiting in a bow roof shed for someone to take her home for the price of simply removing her. Call Sidney at 774-563-0200. For background story, see:http://www.boat-links.com/Atkinco/Articles/MacNaughton/index.html
