        Thanks to the donors of these past few days! The first round of donor
        credits will go up on the Heros page tomorrow afternoon; regular updates to
        follow. Donors may send their preferred name/login and a URL (optional--if

        Would incentive prizes help? I've got a some Serenity
        pins/keychains/onesheets, a few Inara art-cards by 11th Hour, a couple XL
        fan t-shirts, a stack of On the Drift CDs, and two Joss Whedon on
        screenwriting DVDs... Or should I take these to ebay?

        Someone has offered $1000 now and $1000 later this year (a matching donation
        from his company) if he can send the money to a non-profit organization.
        Does anyone know how an organization goes about obtaining non-profit status?
        Does anyone know of any existing non-profit organization that we could route
        the money through?

        Into the Black, creating fan-episodes in the Firefly-verse, would love to
        have the ambulance stop by for a cameo.

                Sorry about the broken foot, but I think there is budget drama everywhere right now.  Sounds like your summer plans will rock!  I began full time work with the state of AZ 5 months ago, it's intense after having my own art business for 12 years and working part time teaching art here and there.   I love my job and the friends that I have made in a 100+ office of cubicles.  Even started a hiking club as there is a beautiful desert mountain looming across the street!  So that's different but necessary as I have not planned for retirement at all and this job will help!  It's hard not doing my art but time does pass quickly this way.  :)  :(
                Patrick is 16 and in High school now, he loves it. 
                No travel plans since I will be Art Show director for Westercon this year.  It is # 70 and will be here in Tempe over 4th of july weekend.  www.Westercon70.org  
                Its going to be a long hot summer, but will probably go fast too.
