      after examining the clips of the ambulance, it looks like the
      canisters near the front wing are STOL jets for stable landing.

      it is vertical when the wings are extended, possibly from inside the
      nose nacelle. alternatively the wings could also be underneath the
      carriage when in flight, which implies they rotate into flight
      position. this also means that they are stabilizers unnecessary for
      take-off and regular flight.

      when in flight, the ambulance's front STOL jets are horizontal.

      hope this helps in recreating that part of the ambulance.
