- Apr 10, 2017Hi Adam,Sorry about the broken foot, but I think there is budget drama everywhere right now. Sounds like your summer plans will rock! I began full time work with the state of AZ 5 months ago, it's intense after having my own art business for 12 years and working part time teaching art here and there. I love my job and the friends that I have made in a 100+ office of cubicles. Even started a hiking club as there is a beautiful desert mountain looming across the street! So that's different but necessary as I have not planned for retirement at all and this job will help! It's hard not doing my art but time does pass quickly this way. :) :(Patrick is 16 and in High school now, he loves it.No travel plans since I will be Art Show director for Westercon this year. It is # 70 and will be here in Tempe over 4th of july weekend. www.Westercon70.orgIts going to be a long hot summer, but will probably go fast too.take care, enjoy little moments!Annette
