Thank you, Bera, for bringing us back on course. Thank you to all who
have participated in the discussion, thus far.

I thought I'd do a quick summary of our two past topics before leaping
onto the next topic, as per our schedule.

General consensus on the Mission statement with a small alteration in
      the word order to:

To support, promote and advance the pursuit and knowledge of the
Culinary Arts, by both individuals and groups, within the Kingdom of An Tir .

The issue of the guild name was more animated with a general tendency
towards something more in line with medieval guild name models.
      Suggestions included:

Sable Kettle - (working name we have been using to acknowledge past
achievements while creating a new identity. Possible movement into an
      award name instead.)

      The Worshipful Company of Victualers
      or
      The Worshipful Company of Cooks

Worshipful Fellowship Of Optimistic Dietary Investigators of Eatable
      Sundries? ( Worshipful FOODIES?)

A two-part name such as The An Tir Culinary Guild; also known as the
most worshipful company of the cooks of the lion kitchen or some high
falutin' name that we can play with? (Come play with the Royal cooks.)

The Worshipful Company of Cooks of An Tir [with CAT& cat badge
      auxiliary functions]

This final choice seems to be getting the most approbation. We could
always start with something like that and append a subtitle later. I'll
have to see if I can set up the polling function for something more
accurate than an over view, unless someone else has the skills and will
      to do so? Buehler? Anyone?

I will introduce this week's topic in a separate message.
