I honestly meant to record it -- it was even on my mind the morning
of -- but somehow my equipment never quite got set up. That makes
two "Ellen" captures I've managed to botch in one way or another =/

On a brighter note, an appearance I hadn't even been aware of

doesn't make up for my dropping the ball, but for those who haven't

First: I hope you don't mind my combining replies. Second: I'm
using a video capture card and VirtualDub. My setup isn't perfect
(I can't, for example, utilize my card's s-video input, because I
don't own anything with s-video output and I'm using analog cable as
my source), but it gets the job done, however crudely.
