When donating food to people food banks this holiday season please think about also donating some canned or dry pet food too. Critters are being turned into rescuers and shelters in record numbers thanks to this economy.

And you can find your next homeless horse, llama, ferret, pocket pets, rabbit, dog, cat or other barnyard animals here: www.petfinder.com

And area horse rescuers are being overwhelmed with horses so please think about donating $20 cash per household as they can buy more hay then you can with that same amount with their discounts from area farmers. This is going to be a very harsh winter once again and there will be many starving horse and cow herds as well as llamas in the bad weather, etc.

Please help those animals who can not help themselves. For ten charities that assist people there is only one animal charity out there helping as best we can with little or no donations that dried up in this economy.

      Thanks,
      Margo
