Participate in Wash Post "Animals in Entertainment" Caption Contest
Send in your captions and forward widely so they get they idea that
animals in chains is NOT family entertainment.
The August 16th Washington Post "Kids Post" features pictures of animals, most of whom are in zoos. One is a picture of two monkeys dressed in human clothes and riding bicycles. Another particularly exploitive picture is of an elephant sitting on a toilet seat. The Post asks kids to write a caption for the picture and send it to them. You may wish to write your own caption about how unfunny the promotion of animals in entertainment is.
