Image showing how all the continents fit together.Referring to the article on the alleged prehistoric ancient super continent,  Cartographers have fit all the Americas' eastern coastlines like a jigsaw puzzle exactly to Europe and Africa's western coastlines, and these combined continents along with all other continents, once joined together  were known as the "Pangaea."

This, not counting  the  land strip  known as  the Continental  shelves, the continent's shores which extend a few miles out under the sea, then drop sharply off like a torn piece of cake to some 13,000 feet and more in places;  and where the mid-Atlantic ridge itself is the actual mid point  or 'fissure of this separating "pushup."  There is/was no space where there could ever have been a continent or very long island between these two continents at any time.

Socrates' Dialogues (called Plato's Dialogues) gives the exact areas and names of the lands the fabled sea-faring "Atlanteans" actually occupied, as does Herodotus. The ancient sailor's way to the Americas was secretly  hidden within these Socrates' dialogues and  are very clearly in plain view, which I believe to be the actual bottom-line of the story.  Socrates was also warning the King of Greece, i.e. Macedonia of an impending battle planned by  the "then Atlanteans."     :-)
