- My Guiscard and I live in a one room apartment. If he wakes up at

I hqve a male ferret that does the same thing when he wants to get out he
tries everything.I just ignore him and he quiet down. They are pretty smart
and will find ways to get what they want.
- She might be bored. Make sure she has something warm to cuddle up in
and a few toys to play with inside the cage. Young ferrets are very
active and need lots of attention/play time out of the cage. Try
taking her out for at least an hour at a time and let her wear
herself out. Then she will rest for a few hours. If she has toys in
the cage (especially a little ball) she will occupy herself for
awhile. The noises are normal attention getting cries. She just
wants to play! She is still a "child".
