Group Description

In 1997 this Internet stamp club was started as the "Stamp Collecting News" at the old MSN Homepages with a link to the Stamp Collecting Community on MSN communities, which used REAL newsgroups and IRC chat rooms.

MSN Homepages were discontinued in 2002, and two separate stamp clubs "Stamp Collecting Community" and the "Stamp Collecting News" were formed at the new MSN Groups.

The Stamp Collecting News group crashed on November 8, 2002.

There were over 900 members at that time. When the club started to rebuild, MSN was not able to let us use the Stamp Collecting News Name. So the club was re-named All Nations Stamp Club. Later MSN resolved some problems and the Stamp Collecting News Group was once again back in action.

All Nations Stamp Club was the main social club.

The Stamp Collecting Community became a stamp trading group.

The Stamp Collecting News provided news.

The mission of all the groups was to promote stamp collecting through information exchange and conversation among members. Since the reconstruction of the group, our club has grown in scope and strength and membership reached 1,794 at the end of January 2009.

We proudly featured Round Robins, a buy/sell page, a Trading page, Stamp Chat, Stamp Games, a wonderful Picture Gallery and monthly stamp picture themes, special sections for regional philately as well as loads of information about current stamp issues and general stamp collecting discussion.

On February of 2009 MSN closed down all the Groups service and all of the old All Nations Stamp Club messages, photos and documents were archived at the social networking site Multiply(http://allnationsstampclub.multiply.com/). Additional All Nations Stamp Club material is at the ANSC Attic at Multiply (http://anscattic.multiply.com/).

The All Nations Stamp Club Message Board was moved here to Yahoo.
