      On December 28, 2013, at approximately 12:27 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the area of Maple Avenue at Lincoln Avenue for a report of a pedestrian struck. The driver made a left turn on to Maple Avenue from Lincoln Avenue and bumped the pedestrian, who was traveling across Lincoln Avenue. The pedestrian suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle did remain at the scene.

      Investigation continues under case #13062440. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301-270-1100.

        On February 21, 2014, at approximately 11:56 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 1100 block of University Blvd. for a report of a pedestrian struck. The victim had gotten off of the bus and entered the crosswalk to cross over the eastbound lanes of University Blvd when she was struck. The pedestrian suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle did remain at the scene.

          On June 9, 2014, at approximately 3:12 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and University Blvd. for a report of a pedestrian struck. The driver of the vehicle was stopped at a red light and did not see the pedestrian, who approached from his blind side. When the light turned green, the driver of the vehicle proceeded to move forward and struck the pedestrian. The pedestrian suffered minor, non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the vehicle did remain at the scene.
