        The National Weather Service has issued a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY for Montgomery County until 1 pm Saturday. A mix of precipitation types expected tonight.

        Initially, temperatures are expected to be below freezing, and snow or sleet are expected before warmer air moves in and changes the precipitation to rain. A transition through Snow, sleet, and freezing rain are possible over the next 24 hours.

        A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is issued when frozen precipitation is expected which may impact travel. Caution should be used during any travel.

                      Snow will begin late tonight with the heaviest snow expected during the early morning hours on Monday. Snow is expected to mix with sleet later Monday morning and eventually change to all rain by the afternoon. Please use caution and allow extra time for your morning commute.

                                Accumulations: 1-2 inches, little or no ice accumulation from freezing rain..

                                Timing: Late this evening through overnight.

                                Temperatures: Middle to upper 20s

                                Winds: Southeast 5 to 10 mph.

                                Impacts: Roads will be snow covered and slippery. With temperatures below freezing, any untreated roads will remain snow covered and slippery through the morning rush.
