      responded to the 6700 block of Eastern Avenue for reports of an attempt
      theft from auto that occurred sometime between November 10, 2011, at
      8:00 p.m. and November 11, 2011, at 4:00 p.m. The victim’s vehicle
      was parked on the street in front of his residence. Unknown subject(s)
      gained entry to the vehicle through an unsecured front passenger door.
      Property was not missing from the vehicle.

        responded to the 6500 block of Allegheny Avenue for a report of a theft
        from auto in progress. Officers arrived after the two suspects had
        already fled after being spotted by the victim. The suspects fled on
        foot in different directions. No property was taken. The suspects are
        described as:

        (1) Black male, approximately 6’0, 130 lbs, last seen wearing a
        black ski mask, aqua blue and white jacket and khaki pants.

        (2) Black male, approximately 6’0, 130 lbs, last seen wearing a
        black ski mask, gray and red jacket, khaki pants and white shoes with
        pink stripes.

          On January 25, 2012, at approximately 11:42 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the unit block of Jefferson Avenue for a report of an attempt theft from auto that occurred earlier. Officers arrived after the suspect had already fled after being spotted by the victim inside his vehicle. The suspect fled on foot through a backyard on to Carroll Avenue. He then ran down Old Carroll Avenue to Sligo Creek Parkway. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6'0, medium build, last seen wearing a black knit hat, a black 3/4 length wool coat and dark-colored pants. No property was taken.

                        On January 4, 2013, at approximately 10:15 p.m., Takoma Park Police responded to the 800 block of Larch Avenue for reports of an attempt theft from auto. Two unknown suspects, identified by the victim as two tall, thin black males, attempted to enter the victim's vehicle by damaging the lock cylinder on the vehicle. When the suspects noticed the victim, they fled through a cut-through that leads to Sligo Creek Parkway. A canvass of the area was conducted with negative results. No property was taken.

An unknown suspect was seen entering a vehicle and taking property. When confronted, the suspect fled on foot, dropping multiple items along the sidewalk. Montgomery County K9 responded out to assist with a track that ended in the 7300 block of Cedar Avenue.

                                          On December 11, 2013, at approximately 10:49 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 6800 block of Prince George's Avenue for a report of an attempt theft from auto. The victim advised that at approximately 10:42 am, her car alarm began going off. When she looked out the window, she observed a suspect walking at a fast pace up Circle Avenue. Upon inspection of the vehicle, she noticed that the front passenger door was halfway closed. The suspect was described as a black male, medium build, average height (under 6 foot) last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

                                            On December 12, 2013, at approximately 2:46 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 7100 block of Woodland Avenue for a report of a suspicious situation. Two unknown suspects, described as average build and last seen wearing dark clothing, were seen tampering with vehicles and attempting to open three vehicles parked on Woodland Avenue near the intersection of Ethan Allen Avenue. When the suspects saw they were being watched, they fled westbound on Ethan Allen Avenue A K9 track was requested, which tracked the suspects to Sycamore Avenue, Grant Avenue, Hancock Avenue, Lee Avenue and then it stopped in the 7500 block of Maple Avenue. The suspects did not gain entry to the locked vehicles and nothing was stolen.
