5587Destruction of Property - Community Advisory
- Jun 19, 2014On June 18, 2014, at approximately 9:58 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the area of Elm Avenue and Poplar Avenue for the report of destruction of property. The victim was driving in his vehicle when suspects threw an unknown object at his vehicle striking the driver's side. The victim turned his vehicle around to see what caused the object to hit his vehicle, and when doing so he heard a loud "boom" and noticed that his rear window had shattered. Officers canvassed the area, including Spring Park, for possible suspects with negative results.
Investigation continues under case #14029032. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to please call us at 301-270-1100.
