      Arrests:

      7500 blk. of Maple Ave., on Monday, December 30th at 10:03 a.m., a
      female 22, was arrested for having an open driving under a suspended
      license warrant.

      7500 blk. of New Hampshire Ave, on Thursday, December 26th at 9:15
      p.m., a male 53, was arrested for having two open driving under the
      influence of alcohol warrants.

      7500 blk. of Maple Ave., on Wednesday, January 1st at 8:00 a.m., a male
      32, was arrested for having an open driving on a suspended license
      warrant.

      600 blk. of Houston Ave., on Wednesday, January 1st at 6:27 a.m., a
      male 47, was arrested for having an open alcohol container warrant.

      Ethan Allen Ave. & Carroll Ave., on Wednesday, January 1st at 1:50
      a.m., a male 22, was arrested for driving under the influence of
      alcohol.

      Flower Ave. & Carroll Ave., on Wednesday, January 1st at 4:05 a.m., a
      male 20, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

      8000 blk. of Flower Ave., on Tuesday, December 31st at 12:00 p.m., a
      male 25, was arrested for having open burglary, theft, and destruction
      of property warrants.

      7500 blk. of Maple Ave., on Tuesday, December 31st at 3:25 a.m., a male
      40, was arrested for disorderly conduct and failure to obey a lawful
      order.

      7600 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Monday, December 30th at 12:00
      p.m., two females 39 and 51, were arrested for theft scheme and
      conspiracy to commit theft.

      500 blk. of Ethan Allen Ave., on Sunday, December 29th at 11:18 a.m., a
      female 52, was arrested for violation of a protective order.
      New Hampshire Ave. & Holton La., on Sunday, December 22nd at 6:30 a.m.,
      a male 31, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

      Piney Branch Rd. & Flower Ave., on Monday, December 23rd at 1:08 a.m.,
      a male 51, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

      New Hampshire Ave. & Holton La., on Saturday, December 21st at 4:17
      a.m., a male 25, was arrested for driving under the influence of
      alcohol.

      New Hampshire Ave. & East West Hwy., on Saturday, December 21st at 1:36
      a.m., a male 33, was arrested for driving under the influence of
      alcohol.

      900 University Blvd., on Saturday, December 21st at 11:19 p.m., a male
      54, was arrested for having an open trespassing warrant.

      New Hampshire Ave. & Holton La., on Sunday, December 22 at 2:27 a.m., a
      male 32, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

      New Hampshire Ave. & Merwood Dr., on Saturday, December 21st at 4:47
      a.m., a male 20, was arrested for driving under the influence of
      alcohol, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and traffic
      offenses.

      7600 blk. of Takoma Ave., on Friday, December 20th at 12:17 a.m., a
      male 20, was arrested for disturbing school operations.

      Larceny from Vehicle

      Unit blk. of Holt Pl., on Tuesday, December 24th at 10:00 p.m.,
      officers responded to an attempted theft that occurred earlier. Unknown
      suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle, but did not steal any property.

      Ward 3:

      Robbery

      100 blk. of Elm Ave., on Monday, December 30th at 8:30 p.m., officers
      responded to a carjacking that just occurred. Two known male suspect(s)
      approached a female victim as she was next to her vehicle. One suspect
      produced a handgun and demanded the keys from the victim. The victim
      complied and the suspects drove off in the victim’s silver 2014 Subaru
      Forrester which was later recovered.

      6400 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Thursday, December 26th at 1:15
      a.m., officers responded to a robbery that just occurred. A male 30, was
      arrested for armed robbery after assaulting a male victim with a knife
      and stealing the victims property. The victim suffered minor injuries.


      Residential Burglary

      6800 blk. of Westmoreland Ave., on Sunday, December 22nd at 6:19 p.m.,
      officers responded to an attempted burglary that just occurred. An
      unknown male suspect attempted to kick in a door to a residence, but was
      unsuccessful.

      6500 blk. of Westmoreland Ave., on Sunday, December 29th at 8:00 p.m.,
      officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown
      suspect(s) entered a residence through an unlocked side door and stole
      property.

      6500 blk. of Eastern Ave., on Thursday, December 26th at 6:49 p.m.,
      officers responded to a burglary that occurred earlier. Unknown
      suspect(s) broke a window to gain entry into a residence, but did not
      steal any property.

      Ward 4:

      Residential Burglary

      7600 blk. of Maple Ave., on Friday, December 27th at 1:00 a.m.,
      officers responded to an attempted burglary that just occurred. Unknown
      suspect(s) attempted to gain entry into an apartment by damaging the
      front door, but were unsuccessful.

      Ward 5:

      Aggravated Assault

      8300 blk. of Flower Ave., on Wednesday, January 1st at 12:19 a.m.,
      officers responded to an assault that just occurred. Two known female
      suspects had an altercation with a male victim that turned physical
      after the suspects entered the victim’s apartment and an argument
      ensued. The victim was cut during the altercation and suffered injury.
      The suspects fled in a taxi in an unknown direction.

      Ward 6:

      Simple Assault

      8100 blk. of Lockney Ave., on Sunday, December 22 at 12:21 a.m., a male
      22, was arrested for assaulting a female victim during an altercation
      that turned physical.

      Commercial Burglary

      7600 blk. of New Hampshire Ave., on Tuesday, December 24th at 4:00
      p.m., officers responded to an attempted burglary that occurred earlier.
      Unknown suspect(s) broke a door handle in attempt to gain entry into a
      business, but were unsuccessful.

      Larceny

      1100 blk. of University Blvd., on Sunday, December 29th at 3:44 p.m.,
      officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s)
      stole a purse that was left unattended at a table.

      1300 blk. of University Blvd., on Sunday, December 29th at 12:42 a.m.,
      a male 37, was arrested for shoplifting items from a store and failure
      to obey a lawful order.

      Larceny from Vehicle

      1100 blk. of Kingwood Dr., on Thursday, January 2nd at 6:55 a.m.,
      officers responded to a theft that occurred overnight. Unknown
      suspect(s) entered an unlocked vehicle and stole property.

      1300 blk. of Holton La., on Thursday, January 2nd at 9:06 p.m.,
      officers responded to a theft that occurred earlier. Unknown suspect(s)
      broke a vehicle lock to gain entry and stole property.
