- Aug 27, 2013View SourceHi Matt,I think you're looking for epoxy glue for the frame ... The other two answers may have been based on the belief that you were looking to epoxy the skin of your boat. For my Snowshoe Arrow I used PL Premium polyurethane construction adhesive for everything but the gunnels. Platt actually recommended this procedure as an alternative to the epoxy. I, like you, didn't get the epoxy in the kit either. As far as actually sourcing the epoxy glue, I can't help. I just ended up using some polyester resin from Canadian Tire for select gunnel joints.Seems we have quite a few Canadians building these boats... Maybe we should organise an Ontario GA Boats meet up sometime! Maybe some of you from the NE US might be interested also. Thoughts??Cheers all,AaronSent from my BlackBerry Z10.
Hello. New to boat building but hoping to gain a wealth of knowledge.
I am in the beginning stages of building the Classic 10 boat. I purchased the plans and the partial kit and then found out that the epoxy can not be shipped to Canada.
Can someone please steer me in the right direction as to what type and make epoxy I am looking for and perhaps any places I can buy it in Canada, particularly Ontario?
Thanks in advance!
