      your membership format.
There are three to choose from and I dont know
which ones are seeing the changes. The three
      options are
      1. Traditional
      2. Default
      3. Fully Featured

I have selected Traditional for myself and see nothing
unusual at all. Otherwise, just ride it out as Yahoo
is sure to fix any problems that exist.

It seems that the Yahoo plan to stop allowing user posts on 10/21 and to remove all currently posted data by the end of the year will effectively kill all the groups I frequent.

I have been a lurker studying much of what is posted here. I will be coming to a decision on building a modification of a Carbon Dragon as an electric motorglider soon. The Armchair Group has provided a huge amount of essential information for me. I see lots of projects popping up which seem based on Sandlins’ designs and the members input. The removal of all the files, member posts, and all the photos will remove the major source of inspiration for most of us.

I am sure that the change is due to the massive amount of data stored by Yahoo at a huge expense. I fear that the loss of ability for the public to share ideas will significantly dampen our collective innovation.

I did this preemptively about a year ago so we will not have the messages or photos from the past year here. But all the messages and members from a year ago are already set up here.

Try it out as it seems the easiest and best way forward when Yahoo completely shuts down. Currently I think the Yahoo files and photos have already shut down
