Subject: [Airchairgroup] Ribs Length of the Goat 2

On G2W1 the struts length is mentioned as 41" long.
This means that the wing breadth is around 43" wide.

On G2S8 the rib contour specifies that the rib length would be 44.5" long (the last point to the right is 44.5,0)
This means that the horizontal distance from the first point to the last point of the rib should be 44.5" long.

Is this assumption correct?
If so, this means that the rib will be longer than the wing breadth, which is around 43" long.

Did I miss something?

Thanks

Alaa

Ribs are curved to make airfoil shape so would be longer than chord (wing width front to back).

• I think I found out the discrepancy. In G2S7, the instruction say: ovalize end and trim Thanks ________________________________ From: David Mercer
