      MODERATOR STATEMENT
      ----------------------------------

When you Post a new message or Reply to one...
      - Do not quote the entire previous message when you reply
      - (quote very little or none of the original message)
      - Stay on topic, per the 'Subject' line of the thread
      - (if the conversation changes, move to a thread)
      - When your question changes, do not change the 'Subject'
      - (you are still in the original Subject's thread chain)
      - With a new topic, post a new message with new subject line
      - (start fresh when you have a new item to discuss)
      - Keep the subject line short, 2-5 key choice summary words
      - (its a subject line, not a sentenance area)
      - If you reply via Email, strip off the to/from, the ads and
      - junk on the bottom of the message (like virus notes)
      - Sign your messages with your name (at least your first)
      - (it just makes for better, friendly reading)

Your efforts will help make it easier for others reading the
messages. And improve when 'searching' the old messages by using 'key
words' in the 'Subject' line. I know this is basic message concepts
but seems we might need a reminder.

Your support and courtesy to the group would be appreciated.

If you have questions or not clear on the above requests,
please contact me off list to discuss. Do not reply here.

        GROUP REMINDER
        ----------------------------

Please help insure you are helping to maintain a good, clean, usable
and easy to search, message area for others.

A few months ago a message listed some requests to help...
        http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AirWire/message/367

Here are a couple items to re-visit...
        - Do not quote the 'entire' original message when you reply
(quote very little if needed, not the entire message)
        - Stay on topic, per the 'Subject' line of the thread
(if the conversation changes, move to a thread)
        - With a new topic, post a new message with new Subject line
(start fresh when you have a new item to discuss)
        - Keep the subject line short, 2-5 key choice summary words
(its a subject line, not a sentenance area)
        - Sign your messages with your name (at least your first)

Some basic stuff that will help improve the message area and make it
cleaner and easier to search by others, looking for information later.

Thanks for your support to make things better.
