Subject: [AirWire] G3 no go intermitent

I am very new to battery power and am haviung second thoughts about it. I have just received back my new G3 that decided to go crazy on me. I was told it was one of the motor drives that was burnt out. It worked fine when installed then after about a dozen runs it decided not to go in reverse then all of a sudden it started going full throtle and could not be stoped.
Now the new one is acting up, I stoped it after a few runs around the yard and when I went to go in reverse, no reverse, then forward and no forward. In panic, I shut it down waited and turned it back on. It then went forward, then I tried reverse and it worked then forward and nothing. This is exactly what it did before it started the hundred miles an hour no control. Oh ya, before your jump to say install, I tried another older decoder and it worked fine while I waited for the G3 to be repaired.I have also checked every conection, removed sound, there are no track pick ups on the loco either. I am afraid to continue to try it for fear the $149 that turned into $179 will turn into $209. I just cant aford to keep having this fixed.
      HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Bill
