This is my second post for my horned Bete Mask. This is a mask that my father purchased in Paris in 1945/1946 from a Gallery right after WW2.
There is a note in the back in Script in French so for me it is doubly hard to read.
I've provided a better picture of the text. Click on the picture titled 'Bete New Text' and above the photo you will see 'View Medium | Large | Original' and you will see a huge copy of the text:
The only thing I can recognize is Daloa (a town) even thought I've spent many, many hours searching on the web.
The last pair of words, Gnolou Cago, I'm guessing it the artist.
